Yeah atm the favourites are Caster and Berserker, with Shinji as a wildcard. I mean, Rin and Archer are both strong, but they have shown an inability to deal with Berserker and have had a mixed bag vs Caster before Caster got Saber and while allied with Shirou and Saber. Shirou is right out as he is heavily wounded, out of a servant and without any official allies.

This was the season finale of season 1. So it ended here and picked up again several months later. If it mightve felt a bit bigger and final than a normal episode to you with the double episode lenght and the showing all servants currently and epic exit and big powerful ending song like movie ending credits, that's why.

Oh, and the ending song of this episode is actually the original opening from the first Fate series remastered and sung by the new go to Fate theme singer Lisa. She does a lot. For example the Demon Slayer openings and the like.

Yup, this was a really good show. It's really really well done. The quality that Ufotable brought to the series with this adaptation is truly astounding in my opinion Well, it is Ufotable we're talking about. Known for having unlimited budget as well as the creators of Demon Slayer which is basically the biggest anime success ever made.

Yeah, uhh....easy to see why this Caster blows the last one out of the water. The last Caster was not only an unlikable piece of shit, but he also barely did anything but kill innocent kids. He only became a significant threat when he created that giant lovecraftian monster that was gonna involve basically the entire city. This Caster has been faaaaar more crafty, tactical and in control during this war. She has also performed two never seen before feats. Summoning her own Servant (Assassin) and stealing somone else's (Saber). Talk about a quality threat who knows what the fuck she's doing and doesn't fuck around.

Wait... I just realized that this Caster managed to fulfill a goal of the last Caster. This Caster has Saber all for themselves.

I can't wait until they finally reveal Caster's true identity. They kind of hinted at it in this episode, but they didn't spell it out. Because she's easily one of the most interesting characters in Mythology.
