We'd actually met Rebecca* before twice. I believe it was when Asta and Yuno first went the capital. And a second time when Noelle, Asta, and Vanessa went on their shopping trip and Finral screwed up trying to flirt with her by assuming she was a single mom, when all the kids with her were her siblings. This is a fun episode though, especially with the Noelle shenanigans :P Edit: I called her Scarlet XD I was thinking too much about her hair.

yeah curtis this episode was not filler, as im sure youve seen already Rebecca will come back. however curtis about the 142- 158 like i mentioned in a previous comment they are canon episodes by the author that do not appear in the manga but were written by him, he just didnt have time to implement them. its similar to in one piece, all the way back at logue town (East blue final island where we met smoker) all the stuff there with the individual straw hats had to be cut because oda wanted to get to the grand line by chapter 100 but the anime added them at his request

Next episode is pretty much just a recap of everything that’s happened in BC up til now. And it’s impossible to not like Asta even more when he’s getting all the girls. Noelle, Mimosa, and now a hottie red head 😄

Well I mean her name IS Rebecca Scarlet, so you weren't wrong... Also she appears a bit in the next arc I think, so that's probably why this episode wasn't filler as it more fully introduces her as a character.

If I'm not mistaken BC doesn't have a whole lot of filler aside from the recap episodes and reusing footage within the same episode after the "commercial break" midway through. I could be wrong, but I'm sure an episode guide is out there since ther are onces for One Piece and Naruto.
