They were never gonna wish for Killin back. They wanted the dragon to destroy Piccolo. He'd just collect the balls again in a year if he wasn't gone by then anyway^^

Unless Piccolo could have been defeated before the Dragon Balls were collected. That's what I was rooting for.

Honestly if Roshi had enlisted Tien's help (assuming he could have convinced him since he seemed against using the wave since it would kill Roshi) with the wave then Tien could have held the jar still while Roshi sealed him away.
