You've mentioned Stein's voice a few times now. I know you're watching DB alongside Soul Eater, and was wondering if it sounded familiar? :) Stein and Pilaf are both voiced by Chuck Huber. Who also voices, Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho, actually. They're 3 very different characters, and I think he does a great job with them all.

I feel like Soul Eater does a really good job of balancing its characters honestly. series that have big main casts and multiple protagonists tend to face a sort of balancing issue were some characters just fall to the side and don't get many moments to shine, but I feel Soul Eater does a good job of giving each of its 3 protagonist groups their own spotlight throughout, it doesn't just become the "Maka and Soul show". Like Black star and Tsubaki get some great moments in this episode, and you get why they work together despite their differences.

I don't know why, but I really like this episode and the next one. They're some of my favorites for the whole series.
