You know I was more impressed with Togane as a villain. Before he went all Norman Bates, it just made him pathetic. On the subject of the Rookie, I hope that this was her "Ginoza stops being a dick" moment. She clearly won't forgive herself for what she's done. I very much get the feeling she's going to spend the rest of her career trying to make up for it. Which I'll take over her continually undermining Akane.

Kamui and Togane are interesting inversions of each other. Togane is by Akane's side the whole time but wants to ruin and kill her. Meanwhile Kamui spend the season working against her, but seems to genuinely respect her and sees her as someone who can either judge or change Sybil.
