I was some episodes behind due to lack of time (or poor management of it) so caught up just now by binging all the episodes, which was actually nice thing since it covered the Pope fight and this execution. Some of my favorite parts of the show since Naofumi gets his name cleaned thanks to the queen and I liked the fight (or at least the results of it) And the new names are perfect. Everyone in anime community were pretty much calling the characters by those names in this point anyway so they are very fitting 😂

It did feel wrong to execute Myne and The King and I'll give the king two things; he was shocked that Myne would attempt to kill Melty and I do think he owned up to his actions albeit in a way that made it all seem justified as though he should be understood for his actions. I was 100% on board with Queen sexy tits shaming and disinheriting them both, but killing them felt a bit unsatisfying. At least for The King, I believe in second chances. Myne though? Nah, she's crossed lines even her father would not. But Naofumi is 100% cleared of all charges; even spear boi is convinced Myne conspired against him. I don't think Naofumi knew The Queen was going to plead for her husband and daughter's lives, but rather Naofumi did not want their blood on his hands and also wanted a more satisfactory means of getting even.

Oh lad ye have no idea how satisfying this episode was for someone who absolutely lothes that king and that bitch. Im like ye, I would have preferred beheading but what Naofumi came up with is awesome too. Now we can call her a bitch without feeling bad, not that there's any reason to feel bad for her, because that's her name now. Would be rude not calling someone by her name don't ye think?
