So I love the detail of whitebeard calling everyone on his crew his children except Oden who he called his little brother. He genuinely considered Oden close to his equal and that is some high praise.

Okay so VERY important things to note in this episode: 1) Buggy mentioned to Shanks that Blackbeard has never slept in his entire life. This is important because it shows that something is not normal about Blackbeard, like he is not a normal human being and might actually be a monster. This somehow ties into why he can eat multiple devil fruits, there’s lot of mystery behind Blackbeard. 2) Roger told Oden and Whitebeard that he went to the final island on the log pose called Lodestar. We learned in Zou that on this island you learn about the Poneglyphs and their importance. We know that the Straw Hats will eventually go to this island too since they are also following the log pose. So there is something else on that island that we don’t know about. 3) Luffy has a Second Dream, the part of this episode where Roger tells Oden and Whitebeard “I’ll become” then we dont hear what was said actually mimics a scene with Luffy as a kid saying the same thing to Ace and Sabo. https://youtu.be/suoBpnDFJa0 Remember during this Oden backstory there is no such thing as a Pirate King yet, so that means Roger and Luffy share a dream that’s unrelated to Pirate King. This will be important to remember for the rest of the story. We don’t know Luffy’s second dream yet.

"Luffy's second dream" is also probably what Shanks mentioned to Rayleigh: "I met a kid in the East Blue who said the same words Captain Roger said. Those very same words..." And it can't be "I'm gonna be the pirate king", because Roger never said that. So it is whatever they said during the silence in their respective speeches. Very intriguing :)

Whatever Roger said to Oden and Whitebeard is implied to be the same what Luffy told to Ace and Sabo when they were young. Even Oden's and WB's reaction are same, one laughing and other being amazed

So with Viper constantly complaining about the food being too hot, cats use their tongues as a thermometer. They are sensitive to heat, more so than us or dogs. Their tongues have a keratin based series of spikes called papillae, which allow them to measure if something is too hot. Oda is keeping up with their physiology to a tee.

The man dual wielding axes with the long, dark hair is Scopper Gaban. These last couples episodes would be the first time anyone who has only seen the anime would've seen him, but he was in Buggy's flashback all the way back in Chapter 19 (Released Dec. 1st, 1997). I'll leave it up to you to figure out where S'COPPER's ranking lies in GOLD Roger's crew along with SILVERs Rayleigh.

Silver was to Roger what Zoro is to Luffy. We know that already. Though Silver is likely in a league of his own when compared to Zoro in terms of combat prowess. Scopper is not known to the best of my knowledge.

This was the most hype chapter of the manga till the roof, the whole clash but they're not even touching and the sky being absolutely demolished as a result compared to the Yonko splitting the sky. Not to mention seeing legends clash like that. Like I said, total poggers.
