The crazy old woman and the old man might be members of the Rocks pirates because she said they came outside of Wano and seemingly groomed Orochi into making weapons for Kaido. If you didn’t notice the old lady has Bon Clay’s (Mr.2) devil fruit. She had his devil fruit before him, so that must mean she has some valuable allies in the outside world. The old man also has a devil fruit from another character you admire.

Fun fact lad but the devil fruit that the old hag has is the same one that bon clay, all the way back from impel down and alabasta, had. Normally when Oda does these types of backstory for a villain I usually have some sympathy or understand why they are the way they are. For orochi I don't care, fuck him. He can boil to death in a pit of burning oil while crying for mercy. I understand why he's doing what he is doing. Anyone would hold a grudge if they suffered persecution for something he/her themselves had no part in it. But still fuck him. However I will acknowledge that he played his cards well on his journey to become shogun, that hag was a fundamental asset to him. Also, it's kinda ironic how someone that hates all of Wano for what they did to him because of his clan's past deeds is now the Shogun of Wano. Maybe that's why the way he is towards Wano? Maybe a revenge thing or something. Also lad, I don't know if you didn't notice but Roger's and Whitebeard's blades didn't even touch and still their conquer's haki was flying everywhere. They are literally so strong that a clash of haki happened without them even smacking their blades against each other!!

The vibes I got is not that Orochi should be seen as a victim, but seen as a product of the blind hatred those people had for the Korozumi Clan. He had nothing to do with what his grandfather did and was paying the price for it. But his fear and hatred of how he was treated plus the old woman grooming him made him into a monster. His anger is* just as blind as that which was thrown at him.

That old hag was using bon Chan's devil fruit btw implying that she was the first user of the clone clone fruit before mr.2 and probably had a better mastery of it since she didn't touch any of the people she transformed too faces also one of the faces is Shiki from strong world.

Orochi's backstory is not meant to make you sympathize with Orochi. It's meant to make you realize the part that both sides played in what he became. If he hadn't hunted down just cause of his family name, he could became an honorable person. It's meant to show that neither side is blameless.

As much I want to see it, I don't think that the One Piece world could handle these two going all out against each other...
