Few things to note: -Toki says she’s 800 years old, so that means she is from the Void Century. This is the time when Imu and the World Government took control -Oden became the 2nd Division commander and much later on Ace would also become the 2nd Division commander. So they share the same role -Gold Roger was introduced as A Great Pirate, that means he is not Pirate King yet. Remember Kinemon told us that Oden and Roger went together to the final island Raftel. So we might get a little sneak peek of how that happens once Oden joins Roger’s crew.

Interesting how The Rocks Pirates gave Oden both a friend and an enemy aka Whitebeard and Kaido. By this episode I was supremely puzzled on why Oden's father chose Orochi over someone like say Hyogoro or Yasuie. I'd have thought Yasuie landed the job as proxy Shogun as a foregone conclusion, but for some reason Orochi got chosen. And yes, this is how Teech came to join WB's crew. He was around like 16 here I think. Teens for sure anyways. The wicked often take advantage of the kindness of others.
