I have been waiting for you to reach this episode a LONG time. All the bounties have easter eggs/ hidden meanings within them: Blackbeard - 2,247,600,000 * Same Bounty as the Real Life Blackbeard 2,247,600 Yen Shanks - 4,048,900,000 * 4890 spells Shanks in Japanese (4=shi 8=ya 9=ku) Big Mom - 4,388,000,000 * 8800 spells “Haha” = Mother in Japanese (8=ha) Kaido - 4,611,100,000 * 1110 spells “hyakuju” = Beasts in Japanese (100=hyaku 10=ju) Whitebeard - 5,046,000,000 * 4600 – “shiro” = White (4=shi 6=ro) Gol D. Roger - 5,564,800,000 * 6480 – Roger (6=ro 4=ji 8=ya) There’s a prediction that Luffy’s FINAL bounty will be Luffy - 5,656,000,000 * 5656= Gomu Gomu (5 = Go, 6 = Mu) Also in this episode it said Roger has the highest bounty in PIRATE history, that could mean someone else that isn’t a pirate could have a higher bounty Monkey D. Dragon might have a higher bounty than Gol D. Roger. This could be the pattern Ace - 550 Million Roger (Ace’s Dad) - 5.5 Billion Sabo - 602 Million Dragon - 6.02 Billion

Now this is a second post unrelated to the bounties, I wanted to talk about Rocks D. Xebec himself. THIS IS A LONG POST. Scroll to bottom for a TLDR, if not reading this. So in this episode we learned that the pirate group Big Mom and Kaido were once joined together also had Whitebeard involved as well. This is known as the Rocks Pirates, the captain of this pirate group is Rocks D. Xebec. As Sengoku said, Xebec was Roger’s greatest foe; What makes this interesting is that Blackbeard’s ship name is called “The Saber of Xebec”. This means that while Luffy inherits the will of Gol D. Roger, Blackbeard might have inherited the will of Rocks D. Xebec. So this ties into the fated duel between Luffy and Blackbeard. What makes this even more interesting is that I don’t think Blackbeard is the son of Xebec, just like how Luffy isn’t related to Roger. We find out that Ace was Roger’s child. So that means there is someone out there who could be Xebec’s actual child. As mentioned God Valley happens 38 years ago and what is so special about this time is that we have two important characters that are just as old as this incident; Shanks & Buggy. Remember both Shanks and Buggy were apart of Roger’s crew, so it is likely that they were picked up in God Valley. This is important because we know for some reason Shanks is “cool” with 5 Elders and Sengoku. So this is alluding that somehow Shanks is special. He might actually be a Celestial Dragon because remember as mentioned in the episode Garp and Roger SAVE the Celestial Dragons from Rocks. So maybe a baby Shanks might have been involved with the incident. Now is Shanks then somehow both a Celestial Dragon AND Rock’s son? Rocks D. Shanks? I actually don’t think so, I am thinking Shanks is either a Celestial Dragon or a more interesting idea; a Demi God. God’s Valley might actually have the literal meaning as Gods’ Valley, especially if it is a place that was special enough for the Celestial Dragons to occupy for whatever reason. So then if not Shanks, then who could be Xebec’s son. Well...there’s a pattern we can somewhat follow. Throughout the story we have seen that the relationship between Fathers and Sons are completely opposite. So as examples Garp is a Marine, Dragon is a Revolutionist Dragon is a Revolutionist, Luffy is a Pirate Roger is Pirate King, Ace resents Pirate King Sabo’s Dad was a noble, Sabo hates nobles Vinsmoke Judge is evil, Sanji is good I can keep going with parallels, but the point being that fathers and sons are never identical. So if we were to apply this with Rocks D. Xebec, we could get this: Rocks D. Xebec is the most notorious pirate So that means Xebec’s son should be the LEAST notorious pirate. The only person who can fit that mold is BUGGY THE CLOWN. Let me know what you guys think about either of my posts. Let’s get some discussion flowing. Curious to hear feedback and other people’s ideas. TLDR: THEORY Blackbeard = Rocks D. Xebec’s Will Buggy The Clown = Rocks D. Xebec’s Son Shanks = Celestial Dragon or Demi God.

I was deadass gonna make the same suggestion before i read to the end of the comment, Buggy being Xebec's son just fits so well with his pattern of 'random ass, generally weak pirate who is related to the strongest people in the world'. Also i'm calling it now, its not Buggy the Clown, its Buggy D Clown. Its so like Oda to throw that wordplay in there.

Rocks ruled over Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido. How strong, how terrible a monster he must have been. He made the King of The Pirates and for all intents and purposes The Navy's strongest admiral unite to take him out. But now you know why the W.G. is all "O_O" at Wano. They fear The Rocks pirates will reunite and well, in effect, they have, though both intend to kill the other by the end of the alliance. I also believe the death of Rocks and the destruction of the island was the W.G. piecing together that they can hide things if all evidence is merely erased. Garp working with Roger was not something they wanted people to know as it made them seem vulnerable. They have a strong grip on their pride and as we know would go to any lengths be it cover-ups(Alabasta & Dressrosa) or genocide(Robin's people) to protect what is theirs. The theory that Shanks is a descendent of The Celestial Dragons is a popular one and honestly, it has merit. Both The Navy and Blackbeard stood down when he shut down an entire war just by showing up. I think Shanks is an agent of order; he keeps balance of power in check. But yeah, you could say Rocks and Gol D. Roger are the past versions of Blackbeard and Luffy respectfully. Spiritual successors if you will. Also that island we saw Blackbeard trolling and threatening Moria on where his crewmate Absolam was killed and the devilfruit power stolen is the same island that Rocks made his HQ. Edit: If you remember when Roger was captured, he entrusted the safety of Ace to Garp. We now know why Roger trusted Garp; the two were both honest men and shared comradery during a war against the biggest threat at the time.

This episode blew our minds las when it first aired and proved one more time why one piece is the best. Literally the most hype thing we got from this was because of Sengoku just talking about the past. God I love Oda's writing. Anyway lad, I don't know if you understand but Rocks literally brought the world government to their knees. Just think how powerful they must have been if their crew included 3 future emperor's of the sea in Big mom, Kaido, whitebeard, and the Golden lion, Rogers pirate rival. And just imagine how strong the captain had to be to be the said Captain of those four, especially Kaido and big mom. I think he was the unofficial pirate king before Roger. I honestly hope we get some backstory regarding the Rocks pirates and their captain. Fun fact but Blackbeard's main ship is called 'the sword of xebec' and the Island where he's set up is called pirate island beehive, also that same island was Xebec's Base if operations

WOW I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THIS!! Roger’s bounty is 5.5 billion and replicates Ace’s 550 million So Dragon bounty being 6.02 billion because Sabo has 602 million. THIS MAKES SOOO MUCH SENSE!!

Now we should be entering Act 3 and will be starting Oden’s backstory. As it was mentioned in this episode, Oden was in both Whitebeard and Roger’s crews so we will most likely be seeing all the legends like Roger, Whitebeard, Rayleigh, etc. in Oden’s backstory. Lastly we were told that Oden knew how to read the poneglyphs like Robin so that will be important knowledge to know for what’s coming up. Oden’s backstory is the BEST backstory in the entire series.

Maybe they used an Ancient Weapon to destroy God Valley and the buster calls are meant to try to replicate that effect from long ago. Also Shanks being a Celestial Dragon makes sense, but as Bro E pointed out in his comments Shanks could also be some kind of “God” that is more higher up than any average Celestial Dragon.

Double post but with Garp and Roger teaming up it made me think of the intro to LOTR: "A last alliance of pirates and marines sailed against the armies of Rocks, and on the slopes of God Valley, they fought for the freedom of The New World."

Remember when it was cool to just get a 100 million bounty? Those days are long gone and even now with Luffy’s 1.5 bounty it seems so minimal in comparison to all the top dogs in the world.

i believe this is the first time they mention Oden being a member of not only whitebeards, but rogers ship too, and they even reveal that Oden was there on rogers last journey. now its a lot easier to understand why Momo has such a problem trying to live up to his dads legend. Anyway my head was spinning for a week waiting for the next episode, im so glad you only have to wait a day😂
