ok, here's some big stuff cut from the light novels, God technically isn't the one who gave Tanya her Type 95 Computation Orb, it was the archangel if I remember right, in the light novels we find out a lot more about the gods and heaven, and just how right Tanya was about their current plan being a failed business model and just how little they care about people as individuals. they gave Tanya the orb as a "holy relic" because they finally realized that the last holy relics they'd given to humans to instill faith in god was literally over a millennium ago, that's how out of touch they are and why their worlds are losing faith in them, it literally took over 1,000 years for them to realize that the people they'd last given proof of their existence to, to spread their message are dead, so they gave Tanya the orb a piece of tech they estimate to be 400-500 years more advance then the current orbs in use, so she'd spread faith on Earth, which... she won't do, for obvious reasons lol. Also it's made very clear they have no interest in humans as individuals or free will, just as a collective group to worship them.

In this episode I feel like God or Being X lost to Tanya for two reasons. One because he accepted being called Being X instead of God which is basically Being X admitting to Tanya that yeah I might not be God since the whole don't take the lord name in vain shit. Also as a being as proud as Being X you would think he would say I'm God whenever Tanya calls him Being X. The second reason is the blessing. The fact that the blessing only works if Tanya prays shows that Being X is a cheat for forcing Tanya to fake pray and instill fake belief onto her which isn't real worship. So the fact that Being X had to do that proves that he is not happy with her and is being spiteful which some Greek gods would do but not Bible God since he is suppose to accept all of his creation even the not faithful ones.

it actually wasn't being X this time, in the light novels the anime is based on it was an Archangel who decided to give Tanya her Computation Orb, if I remember right at least, the light novels and manga go deeper into a lot of things, like god and his angels.

Being X clearly doesn't understand the concept that you can't force anyone to have faith. Anymore than you can force them to abandon their faith. If he's one of those Gods that require the prayers of the faithful (like Aqua or Eris in Konosuba) in order to continue their existence. He may very well be hamstringing himself in the long run. Since forced faith is the same as false faith, which I can't imagine is very nutritious to a being that relies on the prayers of the faithful.
