Oh hey thanks for the shout-out that the start. Yeah as said, villains don't always need to be complex as long as they have some sort of notable character. A badass blank slate doesn't work nor does an overly wansty villain. in Precure I found there was this Frieza/Cell/Picollo like villain that didn't have a lot of motivation out of being pure evil (Although he was funny at times) but was my favorite Cure villain simply because he was a cleverly foreshadowed twist villain that gave the Cures the best fight in the series. Then there is another Cure villain which was actually voiced by Frieza (He was a dragon raven) who for most of the series was pretty badass until it was revealed he was basically emo. After all these years I finally figured out why Reds accent comes and goes. It must be because Brian Kelly is taking Reds Irish accent away from him and transforming it into a southern accent for himself.
