Just to keep you guys always updated on things here - and as kind of a follow-up to some conversations we've been having - I thought I'd give you some details of my damaged brain.

With this Post-Concussion Syndrome, I tend to go through bouts where the short term memory is significantly worse. Since we've been back from vacation last week, I've been getting hit pretty hard. What tends to happen is, when I try to recall recent events, it feels kinda like a jumbled up mess of puzzle pieces. Fortunately, so far, I have no cognitive issues, just memory ones.

I've also been putting in REALLY long days since we've been back, and that is likely the cause of a lot of it. Fatigue always adversely effects my memory, so I'm hoping that now that I'm a bit caught up, I can start getting a bit clearer again.

I just mention this to you guys as explanation for why you may be seeing more things slipping past me than usual. Typically, the memory loss is a mild nuisance, but this past week it's been a major annoyance.

I think, though, as I catch up on rest, I'll get back to where I was.

Of course, adding the infuriating fact that my team's head coach just bolted on us, days before a potential trip to the championship tournament, isn't helping me relax any! 😡😂

As several others have said, take your time, make sure not to overly stress or exhaust yourself. We want to keep you around and if possible without the damage getting worse. And while you know this, you do have some damage up there ;) So i will state that if you overstress your mind while it is damaged then it may cause more damage.

When you walk into a room to do something and your like: 'What did I come in here for again?'
