Okay so Ryuo is still a brand new concept within the story, so I will try my best to explain it as clearly as possible. So essentially Ryuo is just another name for Haki, similarly to how in Sky Island they called Observation Haki as Mantra. The only significance here with the Ryuo is that it approaches using Armament Haki differently, as we normally know Armament is used as an invisible armor for defensive purposes like blocking hits. BUT in Wano it used as an offensive where the haki flows outward and instead can be used to target opponents internally. The haki flowing outward and internal damage is the concept of “hitting without touching”, essentially meaning Ryuo’s concept is the next step in mastering Advanced Armament Haki. Just like how seeing into the future is Advanced Observation haki, the internal damage without touching is the advanced armament.

Which brings up the question, whats the advanced form of Conqueror's Haki. Is it just making people drop from your presence like Shanks has, or is there more to it

If only we had a Kamourasaki of our own in the real world to deal with some of the actual corrupt asshats. Much like Pudding, Oda pulled another one over our heads. Komourasaki (Hiyori) may have only been pulling at weeds by stripping the corrupt officials of their money and therefore forcing their exilement, it at least gives the impression that there is some justice yet remaining in Wano. And Luffy has now found yet another badass teacher in the form of Hyogoro. Alpaca man is a minor antagonist, but seeing Hyo crush his throat was satisfying as hell. Easily the most annoying Beast Pirate so far. XD
