Always liked Moria. He cares about his crew to the point he tried to fight a emperor by himself to save one. Don’t know if you remember but it was Kaido that kill his original crew before he went full Halloween with the zombie army. In fact the reason he went with zombies is that he doesn’t want to see another crew mate die. In a way he is a dark version of muddy if he lost his crew.

Blackbeard’s Bounty is based off the real life Blackbeard Edward Thatch’s (Teach) bounty in 1716. Back then it was 100 pounds, but due to inflation today it’s worth 2,247,600 Yen. Thus why Blackbeard’s bounty is specifically 2,247,600,000. It’s the highest bounty so far in the series. Also I think Moria is gonna join Blackbeard because he asks him “Do you like to party?” so it would be more reasonable to be a subordinate than get killed like Absalom. Blackbeard is a smart strategist, so he could find Moria’s ability useful.

About Mihawk, what he was referring to about the Reverie is about Fujitora. If you don’t remember in Dressrosa, Fujitora told Doflamingo that he is gonna try and get rid of the 7 Warlords because of how unreliable they have been in the past. So there’s a chance that Mihawk, Boa Hancock, Weevil, and Buggy could all soon be in danger.

Moria did some terrible things, but he did care about his crew, hence why also Perona was delighted to know he is alive. Honestly Moria doesn't even have the illusion of choice here; join Blackbeard or die and have his Devil Fruit consumed by someone among BB's crew. But yes, Absolom is dead and Hogback is MIA. If I had to guess as to which of BB's crew would get Moria's Devil Fruit it would likely be Doc Q, I don't know if you remember him, but he was the sickly man with the lethargic horse that carries him around. He is also Teech's crew's doctor and given his sickly appearance, he'd fit the bill for Moria's devil fruit.

Kaido didn't actually take any damage from Luffy's barrage, so ordinary folks' attacks wouldn't even tickle him, regardless of their number. And normal (even significant) blunt damage wouldn't hurt someone who gets no more than a headache from jumping off a sky island anyway xD What does it take to injure Kaido? Let's find out... ;)
