Yeah that seems like Horikoshi what going for but it’s just that Class 1A is constantly referred to as the top hero course and are presented to be initially stronger than class 1B. If I’m not mistaken, back in Season 2 every person in the sports festival that made it to the actual 1v1 tournament was a member of class 1A.

So how I (and probably everyone sees shinso) is that he's kinda op in a 1v1 if they don't know his power, when it comes to teams it's definitely touch and go, and even more so if they know his power... but I'm guessing I didn't have to explain that. It's pretty obvious lol

I wasn’t gonna say anything, but rewatching is upsetting me. I don’t like the way they handled this season. This arc is my least favorite in the manga, and they spent more time and animation on it. The stuff that comes after is some of the best, and the animation suffers at times, plus the pacing is awful. Swapping stuff around was awful too, just to end the season a particular way. They also skipped important character building moments that it’s extremely unlikely they’ll return to, and even if they did it would be awkward at this point. The movie is partially to blame, since it diverted attention away from the show. If they screw up next season (arguably the best stuff coming up) I’m done with the anime, just like One Piece. Manga is infinitely better for both, as it stands now.

My Hero manga is definitely better overall, especially where the story is current taking place. Can’t say I agree that same notion with One Piece tho, anime has been on a roll in comparison to the manga. My Hero’s new movie was pretty good, so the tradeoff is somewhat worth it especially since this season is mostly build up for what is to come in Season 6

Fun fact...the beast guy's name, Gevaudan is based on the Beast of Gevaudan in France In the 1760s. It was a wolf-creature that killed over 300 people in the French countryside.
