It was thoroughly enjoyable, watching Clayman beg, grovel and be a bitch as his end was coming!

Little Clayman, just an up-jumped puppet of a demon lord and a bitch to the end. I do feel a bit bad for Tear being sad though, who I find adorably intimidating.

Clayman was not the threat we were lead to believe

Hunter Gordon

Fun fact, when Guy said Rimuru used thought acceleration on Clayman he felt himself getting repeatedly being punched nonstop for 12 days.

Some guy named Chris

Just when I had a teeny tiny bit of respect for Clayman for not selling out his allies, he calls out to them when death was close. What a bitch.

loved this season, seeing Rimuru and the gang get their revenge was great, they definitely set up a lot for the future as well, can't wait for the movie to come out. not sure if you caught it, but the Vampire girl is named Luminus, that's the name of the god the Western Holy Church worships, the one Hinata is part of, one of the church's goals is to kill off monsters, yet we've found out their empower, who was killed this episode was a vampire, and their god is possibly a demon lord, definitely raises a lot of questions.

Mighty Snake

Even in another world Zoro is a badass who cares deeply about his nakama.

When Guy walked up to Rimuru he actually bit his ear seductively instead of just whispering in his ear. Don't know why they removed that it was funny as hell in the light novel/manga

Laplace says he's laughing, but at the end there you can tell it's devolving into crying. It makes me curious to find out what makes him and the others so loyal to a bug like Clayman. Who doesn't strike me as someone who could inspire that kind of loyalty from his friends. Hell he doesn't strike me as someone, capable of making friends.

There are a few changes here that I didn't like compared to the manga. For one the red haired demon lord's scene of splitting the table and convincing Rimuru to name them in a very flirtatious way was a little more obvious. Like Rimuru averts his eyes to the demon lord which is the reason the demon lord grabs Rimuru's chin and pulls it toward him. it's to force eye contact, then there's the detail of that demon lord biting Rimuru's ear which Rimuru responds with pushing him and agreeing to naming them. I like this detail because its another show that Rimuru might also be a bit into dudes as well as gals (evidence being he has called some males in his companion group hunks) What I dislike even more however is the fact that one of the funnies parts is how everyone treats the naming as a much bigger issue than they do in the anime. Like the atmosphere of the room gets heavier and Rimuru is initially unsure why they got so serious. I also love the panel which shows all of the demon lords concerned faces where Leon has his usual Poker face but it has a speech bubble with "!?" next to him. Also the reason Rimuru doesn't go with the 8 demon lords name is because before he was forced to name them he kept suggesting that name but the second he brings up that name they say no immediately. Even Leon shoots it down outright. I like the anime and all but I am beginning to notice a lot of minor changes (likely for pacing sake) that I just don't like as much.

I mean considering he was willing to die before spilling the beans about who his friends actually are, i'd say they're pretty loyal to each other
