I love that veldora used Kamehameha in this, it also happened in the manga. I can't remember if it happened in the WN or LN because it's been so long since I've read them, but another refrence you probably missed was him using hadouken, shoryuken and that spinning kick that's starts with a T (not even gonna try to attempt to spell it) are from the game series street fighter and from one of the most recognized characters in the game, ryu.

I guess you never played Street Fighter? Too bad, that shit was the funniest thing I've seen all year xD We all used to spam Hadouken when playing as Ryu^^ Followed immediately by Shouryuken when someone got close.

I liked the Kamehameha a lot but it just felt off to me hearing it without the usual sound effect that comes with it. I don't dislike it but it does sound like somethings missing with the wave.

Shame you didn't catch the street fighter references, but the kamehameha was awesome, i haven't laughed that hard in a long while, Veldora has shot up to my 2nd favorite character in the show instantly

Looking back, they actually drop quite a few hints about Milim's acting. From Guy's comment about allowing Milim to figh if that's her choice (I mean, who really thought Clayman could get one over on Guy?), to Raphael mentioning she couldn't detect a spell controlling her, to Veldora trying to mention it to Rimuru but getting cut off just short.

I fucking died laughing with the first Hadouken, and then his repeated spamming of it just like in Street Fighter. Then again for the Kamehameha. We was already one of my favorite characters, but that just put him leagues above everybody else.

I don't know if it necessarily makes me feel sorry for him. But it definitely makes him more of an interesting villain. Prior to this arc, I always thought Clayman was a pretty weak villain, in terms of depth. That'd kind of been my one problem with this series, that Clayman the guy who for most of the series appears to be the main baddie was rather uninteresting. Having him be somebody's underling and weaker than other character's we've met in the story so far. Makes for a more interesting dynamic in my opinion.

When Clayman took his multihanded form and said he was going to crush Shion with his own hands, my reaction was "What hands, your opponent has a sword.." and some moments later... Also Veldora using all kinds of moves he learned from different mangas was so funny. Especially the Kamehameha! 😂
