This is a cute/semi-important side-story to pay attention to with Katakuri and Flampe. All of her brothers, except for Katakuri, vote her as their favorite sister every year. In order to be, "King of the Little Sisters", Flampe is willing to do anything for her perfect big brother. But now, if Katakuri doesn't vote for Flampe as his favorite sister, which sister DOES he vote for, and why?

The Luffy Vs Katakuri is my favorite fight in all of One Piece currently! It's just so good. (The only complain I have about it is how it's all cut up.) "Oh no, not another lost tooth!" -Considering how much beating Luffy has taken so far, I think it's miracle he hasn't lost more.

Amazing to see Katakuri going from thinking Luffy is so far beneath him, to starting to respect him. Honestly, it looks like he was having the time of his life. Who knows when he last had a good fight, then a bitch in a dirty diaper shows up and interferes. Imagine if you were eating cake and someone shows up wanting to help, so they slather mustard on your cake. You got nothing against mustard, but you sure as hell don't want it right now, on your cake.

Im half in agreement with you, this fight is one of the best in anime, and definitely the best in One Piece so far. Its my personal favorite out of all of them, the stakes, the possibilities and the chance at growth through what is basically a trial by fire (or in this case, trial by sticky stuff). One thing i do have to disagree with though, the pacing is far from perfect. The fight is way to stretched out and kinda gets a bit repetitive, and hell this is coming from someone who binged the series, i was still going to go crazy if i had to hear Rayleigh say 'Haki gets stronger in battle' one more damn time Thankfully you don't have to wait a week between episodes, i can't imagine what it was like for people who did

The Abyssal Drink

I must agree that I love the fight's pacing. I've rewatched this episode and the ones after (THIS WEEK IS SO HYPE!) and I read the comments on it and people are such pussies about it. Sure dialog gets repeated, fine. But the fight itself takes 11 hours and Luffy only in the latter half was able to land blows. Katakuri is tough and the squash match should be shown. Sure I might be the type to enjoy long, all out fights, but that's also why I watch shonen. Long, all out fights. Plus I'd rather get drawn out fight scenes then drawn out story scenes, which there are issues but not nearly as prevalent. Anyway rant over. NAMI'S TITTIES!
