Personally I don't think Johan gives a shit about reuniting the alumni of 511 Kinderheim and restarting Communism anymore than he cared about being the next Hitler. It's just another group of idiots worshipping him as some Christ-like archetype for whatever they're agenda happens to be. Also the Amazing Steiner is in a word amazing.

It's really messed up that the nail clipper is used as humour but later on turns into a torture device. I understand why you find it unsettling. It feels like a more intimate way of inflicting pain and that horrible squishy sound just makes it worse. I hate the sound of it and that's why it works so well.
