I know what robot by breaking out the mauler twins was morally questionable but I can't blame him for it. He was a human trapped communicating through a robot avatar and you see with his interactions with his fellow teammates, that whenever he would try to empathize with him or share his feelings they would brush him off saying what do you really know you are nothing but a robot.

Me: Sees Title I'm gonna answer that in a DBZ reference. Did Chiaotzu (White little guy, friends with Tien) survive his suicide bombing? Yes it sounds really bad out of context but still!

Mighty Snake

I mean it worked just probably not on the target audience

Some guy named Chris

There is a moment here that is very reminiscent of a The Boys scene, not gonna say it though, because you haven’t gotten to season 2 it seems.

Ok so by now Curtis must know what multiple people in the comments have been eluding to. I'm just gonna lay down what I think went on with the scene with Amber and knowing Mark is Invincible. She doesn't know, nope there were several scenes that made it quite clear she didn't know what was going on. She tells Eve that Mark is consistently tardy and that she thinks he's lying but she doesn't know for sure. Also as agitating as the breakup scene from the previous episode was I am confident she was serious with her tears and all that. No, I believe there was a change in writing here, I don't know why but what I believe we are seeing here is similar to Rian Johnson's whole thing in the Last Jedi about "Subverting Expectations." My guess is that the writers thought her character was being too predictable and decided to shake things up by having her know he's invincible. What the writers obviously didn't consider is that they made a possibly mildly annoying character into an outright unlikable character. This reveal recontextualizes their relationship for at least two weeks back. That scene from the previous episode? Now she looks like really bad yelling at the guy she KNOWS saved them from a cyborg attack creating a situation where Mark was so preoccupied trying to do damage control of his relationship that when William's boyfriend got abducted Mark ignored the call and he met with a gruesome fate. I wanna make clear with this example that I'm not saying Amber is 100% the fault for this happening but if she had handled Mark better, maybe by revealing to him she knew he was Invincible maybe Mark would of taken Will's urging him to try and find his boyfriend more seriously. Those are just my thoughts though and I look forward to see what others have to say about it. This time I'll put the comment under the right video.

What's more if you look at the prison break scene more closely you realize that after the team of prison guards are attacked by the twins that Robot Is quick to close the door in order to separate them, the action even blocks the fire of a weapon the twins stole from the guards.

I like how Rex has changed, he's not super hostile with Monster Girl anymore in fact right about now they interact with each other like chill bros.

Amber gave Mark shit for "leaving" last episode, while knowing that he was Invincible, and therefore did not leave them. (unless she means the tiny amount of time it took him to change to his outfit) She's also upset that he lied to her, by not telling her his biggest secret, while at the same time lying to Mark, by not telling him that she knows, something that might have made his life easier, if he knew that she knows. It's one thing to break up with someone once you find out that they are a superhero, because you can't deal with them having to put everything on hold in order to save people, stop villains/supervillains or save the planet (and i think it's what they tried to do with Amber. It's another thing pretend that you don't know, and still get upset. The closet comparison i can think of from real life, is if Amber decided to keep dating a Volunteer/retained firefighter, and getting upset that they sometimes have to drop everything to go and save people and/or stop a building from burning to the ground, while they are on-call. On a side note, it is a bit of a dick move that William decided to take Ambers side. (not saying he had to pick a side, but he could at least have stayed neutral)

Florian Krause

yeah at this point she screwed up as well. Before that I could understand her thought process. But I've seen this in real life, too. Angry people losing all rationality and consistencyin their arguments and shoving other people away.

And we are finally at the point where i can voice the feeling that the majority of the community feel about her: FUCK AMBER. Let's be honest, the red flags were there all along, what with her blackmailing Todd, asshole though he is, being into '4th wave feminism' and being interested in a social justice degree. Twas really leading towards her being a shit character but you kind of see where shes coming from throughout the series, until they drop this shit on you. She KNEW he was a superhero for ages, which means either she faked the entirety of her little spat with him when she blamed him for leaving them to die during the cyborg dude attack, or shes just a piece of shit who values herself and her own safety and attention over the welfare and lives of others. Not to mention during the spat she goes over to a party and gets flirty with another dude not a few hours after she broke up with Mark. Mark had EVERY excuse to be hesitant or to outright not tell Amber about his secret identity, for one it would've put her life in danger, for two he was very unsure if he even wanted to be a superhero anymore. You can note a neat parallel the writers put between Mark and Eve. Mark isn't sure he wants to be a superhero and would rather have a normal life and go to college despite his powers, Eve doesn't want to continue with school or her normal life because she feels she can do more good with her superpowers I think the writers tried to make Amber as likeable as possible what with the whole feeding the poor at the community center thing in an effort to counteract any annoyance she might cause by being at odds with Mark for him constantly being late or away. Unfortunately they completely fucked it with this, they turned a character who was somewhat annoying and a bit edgy but understandable to someone totally detestable. Side note: Somewhat-fuck William too, i love the dude but siding with Amber on this was a pretty dick move ngl, which i honestly don't understand why he did it, he should see Mark's POV far more clearly. Maybe a bit of a miss on the writer's part. Conclusion: Eve best girl, shes a ginger anyway, you know the soulless ones are the best, just like our old man!

I'm digging this show way more then I thought I was going to! lol every episode feels so short xD

Aeco

At least it wasn't a Windows OS on that machine. He could have been sitting at 99% for minutes, hours even. Yikes...

WHOLESOME DEUS

Well I wanted to say my two piece about amber but everyone else seem to cover everything well enough 😙

WHOLESOME DEUS

Also eve might have the most useful power I’ve ever seen

Daniel Gonzalez

Yeah Amber is the worst but its not the actresss fault the writers screwed her over by as you said trying to subvert expectations except it has her coming off like a bitch if they were gonna do that they shouldve just left her as she originally was

Sean PaulT60

Yeah on the William subject, it felt like the story itself was trying its hardest to tell the audience that Mark was entirely at fault and that Amber was not.

Sean PaulT60

Yeah, at first I thought her powers were similar to Gwen from Ben: 10 Alien force but then she started increasing and decreasing the size of objects and outright making doors and tree houses. It was pretty awesome and from what I heard about the comics she is quite powerful.
