yeah, a relationship like that will always be frustrating. On the one hand saving lives is surely more improtant than missing a few meetigs. But on the other the constant lying to someone you actually like and letting them down isn't the way either. I think he should have told her he is a super hero. Since she isn't that much into super hero stuff, he could maybe tell her that it is the best that she doesn't know his super hero name, so she wont get targeted by villains.

This storyline is one that I think benefited a lot from the condensing they did for the series. In the comics the whole "people are going missing and being turned into unwilling cyborgs" thing took place over months and felt dragged out unnecessarily.

It makes more sense to me tho that it took awhile for the experiments to be done whereas in the episode it makes it look like it happened in the time Mark didnt look for Rick which was like less than an hour

These next 2 episodes really show why amber is trash and the sjw that attack anyone for that opinion cuz in the show she is black in the actual comic she is a blonde white girl and the show just did a bad job of writing her in my opinion
