Just in case you forgot, the Demon Rimuru summoned is the same one that was watching Rimuru and the same one who fought Shizu back in Episode 24. This was basically what that whole thing was leading to. Also, I love how cocky these guys were under the barrier, yet the moment no barrier was involved they got their asses handed to them. These past 2 episodes are what I call the embodiment of catharsis as this was very cathartic. This was also just one huge squash match lol

Adding to that, near the end when he showed up again, you called Diablo a archdemon, as razen (the guy Diablo beat up) said he is actually a Primordial demon, which is the highest ranking demon, above arch. Also idk if ya caught it as I've seen some others miss it, but the human form of rimuru that had the red eyes wasn't actually him, it was his skill Raphael taking over his body while he slept and was the one who revived everyone, you would be able to tell by the way it talked, says stuff like "Notice" and generally talking more stiff like. Plus the voice changed to a more feminine tone.

That's not the most shocking ascension to demonhood I've ever seen. King and Archbishop should be happy Rimuru didn't get Griffith-style on their asses. Literally.

"One JFK to the head" had me howling. I'm not sure if you remembered him, but that demon Rimiru summoned was the same one that was summoned during that Shizu backstory.

Hopefully you get time to watch Slime Diaries, it makes the show so much more enjoyable, in my opinion. Watching all the characters in a slice of life setting was just perfect! Cant wait to see what's lined up next!

You know it's funny looking at it that they made shion such a well liked waifu that everyone unanimously turned to genocide the moment something happened to her. I too would do the same if I were there. Also, I know earlier you were saying you wanted blondie to die slowly and painfully but I have to say this way was somehow way more satisfying like he didn't even get the time of day before he was out like a bitch.

One thing to clarify a bit since you were confused in the moment: The evolution of skills into Ultimate skills is a bit more complicated than just your usual 'combine and you got it!' method Rimuru has been using so far with the ability he got from Shizu. That's why the evolution of Great Sage (or as the actual name of the skill was called 'Wise One') kept failing over and over, so a sacrifice was required. The evolution sacrificed Degenerate, the skill Rimuru got from eating Shizu to evolve Wise One into Raphael. It also sacrificed Merciless to evolve Gluttony, which he got from the Orc Lord, to evolve it into Beelzebub. The only major skill that wasn't touched is Predator, his innate skill to eat and absorb things and their properties. It's a very cool evolution process that actually requires some sacrifice to be brought up to standard of his new form. Another thing you may have missed is that Great Sage was in control of his body while reviving anyone, Rimuru was still asleep. A personal note about the episode, i wouldn't exactly call Raizen, the mage body stealing dude, an idiot for fighting Diablo. There are only 3 Primordials in existence and they're usually regarded as fairy tales by most folks, assuming that what Rimuru summoned was a Greater demon, or at most an Archdemon is pretty logical, and if that were the case Raizen would've probably won pretty easily. Unfortunately for him, this lil devil was a bit above his paygrade : )

Honestly I don't which is more annoying in an Anime villain. When they try to beg for their lives or when they try to act all superior when clearly they're about to be defeated. Somehow the King of Falmuth managed to do both.
