Oda always said that sanji would be French and his iron mask judge made him wear to his his face is based of a French nobleman that was forced to wear one as well

Yes, this is known as The Man in The Iron Mask. The story goes no one knows the true identity of the man in the mask, but it’s been highly speculated that it was an illegitimate older brother of King Louis XIV. So this man was imprisoned in 1669 and was moved around a few French prisons at the time including Bastille and a prison in current day Italy. Unfortunately the man died in prison 34 years later in 1703.

Sanji's brothers are scumbags, but its not inherently their fault. As this episode revealed, they were genetically modified to fit Judge's vision of a new Germa Empire. Judge is a subhuman pile of crap.

While I was really upset at these scenes at first, I can now see beyond the picture: It takes 3 of them hiding behind a hostage in order to deal with what they consider to be a "failure"... must be an incredibly hard slap to their ego lol
