The show overall isnt my style but man... The villain is out of this world. The writing is insanely good. It is one of the few animes where I can ignore the old artstyle. Sadly I couldnt do it for YuYu Hakusho... Id really like to love the anime but I cant watch it due to its old quality

Oh shit, you know I was just thinking about whether you would ever watch Monster. It's such a damn good series. Also, this anime came at what I would say is the tail end of traditional hand drawn cell animation era, and is one of the last one and maybe even THE last that Madhouse Studio did (you would know for shows like No Game No Life and Hunter x Hunter).

I once started this show. I thought it would be pretty interesting for being german and getting some of the cultural stuff they put in there. but the art style wasn't to my liking so i dropped it. Maybe I can pull through along with curtis :)

Sort of like attack on titan, the show challenges complex topics/themes and is riddled with religious symbolism/metaphor. Curtis is gona have to kick the ol' hard drive into the next gear tho because the show demands one connects the dots in order to make some semblance of sense.
