Yeah, this was the episode that I boarded the "fuck that asshole Eren" train. I was unsure where he stood up till this point, but afterwards I didn't really care what his plan was.

I love how Gabi was so focused on the thought of killing Eren but when she finally is in the same room as Eren she is too afraid to even speak.

I can definitely sympathize with the Jaegerists' motivations, but they're waaaaaay too totalitarian in their methods. As for Eren I really don't know. If he's being genuine here then yeah, screw him, but I haven't let go of the possibility that he's putting on an act with some long term goal in mind yet (I haven't read the manga so I'm blind to everything that happens after episode 16).

That's where I am too, My Friend. There's a big part of me that wants to call him a piece of shit, but I'm not convinced there isn't still more to his motivations that we don't know about.

Daolord Badlands

Shadis (the guy Floch had beat up) was the commander of the scouts before Erwin, and was the guy in episode 1 who gave the arm to the grieving mother. He used to be Hange's commander, and she used to look up to him, so having her see him get beaten till he can't move really adds on to the situation IMO
