Ah I also enjoyed watching the movie back when it was released. The dubbed sounded great.. until the crying started. Damn we have such ugly cries, I'm very guilty of that. I'm interested of which other short films may get sponsored in the near future.

I knew you did short films as reactions as I sponsored two in the past, longest being about 30 minutes. The short film that I now know I'll be sponsoring later on would be, Into the Forest of Fireflies' Light (Hotarubi no Mori e), which is about 40 minutes in length. I doubt you've heard of this film thus far as I suppose it doesn't get talked about a lot.. 🤔

well, if ever in the mood for something somewhat similar, might I recommend Your Name and Weathering With You? I think you might enjoy. at least in your free time, sadly they are full length features so I'm not requesting after I'm done with Carole and Tuesday, but I think you might like them. Just as heartstring tugging

Netflix actually does have both the sub and dub-- for anyone who was wondering. :) I actually watched it in Japanese, but maybe I didn't give the dub enough of a chance. I thought it sounded kind of awkward when I first started it, so I switched over, but no complaints now. I actually prefer some of the dub performances. It added some lines that gave some of the characters a lot more personality. Especially the older brother. XD I don't know if you read manga, Curtis, but this one is only one volume long, so you might want to check it out. :D It adds a few details. I'm a huge fan of irony, personally. That first-period class he's always skipping? If she hadn't been bullied out of the school, Miss Yukino would have been the teacher.
