I think one of the things i love the most about this fight is that mashiba cheering for him

They went a bit too far into the realm of anime here. The bullet (half jab) blasts you back and lifts you off your feet causing a nose bleed through your guard similar to being in a 2 meter radius of a grenade. Might have seen something like that in a classic Bollywood movie where the protagonist destroys an entire armed crew with just a banana LMAO. Having said that though, the animation, music, and sound effects (of swamura's thunderbolt) are fucking awesome.

To be fair, Hajime no Ippo treats boxer's techniques like special moves in a video game, or a technique from DBZ. Dante's quark-screw punch if just a type of punch that's not uncommon, Mashiba's flicker is another type of punch, but they're sort of elevated to superhuman levels in the anime. But that's not really unusual in sports anime, I still remember Prince of Tennis where players basically have gravity control and telekinesis in how they're able to warp shots heh.

Agreed, but this was clearly the furthest away from reality they've gone, having a half-jab do that kind of ridiculous damage.
