Last season we got an opponent that we can hate for takamura. But i have a feeling you will hate this opponent even more. Real Piece of crap.

also I know you want Ippo to be all tough outside the ring but it’s kind of the core aspect of his character where he has no courage and confidence. For god sake it took 75 episodes just for him not to be scared by his opponent in the ring anymore

This one is interesting. I always loved comparing Sawamura to Mashiba. He's somewhat like Mashiba, but overly psychotic. Mashiba still has redeeming attributes and deep down he's not a bad guy. I feel like Mashiba doesn't beat on the weaker for fun, only on people that stand in his way while Sawamura doesn't give a fuck about any one and is fully twisted beyond the point of return.
