I was just commenting on how much I like this crew and now I'm told one of them is going to die?!

J Johnson

Obligatory "people die when they are killed" joke. Curtis needs to watch the Fate series at some point so we can understand the memes heh.

Mr.Host

And so begins one of my favorite friendships I've seen in a shonen in a good while. Seriously, Yuji and Nobara have incredible chemistry.

Roppongi is an area in Tokyo that's well known for it's bars and clubs. But they also have a lot of good restaurants and stuff.

I'm not that far in the series myself but I'm guessing it was probably just paranoia that made them think she looked down on them, she's probably from one of those old fashioned tight knit rural towns, so an outsider coming in, especially from Tokyo could upset them, Japan seems to have it's own local rivalries like you'd see between southerners and northerners in the US, or Scotland and England in the uk. Accents and ways of life are pretty distinct between different regions as well, like Tokyo accents being more formal and rigid, while Osaka's accents are apparently more like country bumpkins to them. honestly since I'm from the UK which is a relatively small island with a ton of different local cultures it kind of makes sense to me, though I don't necessarily agree with how far the rivalries can go. also, Nobara's weapon, her voodoo doll and nails is actually traditional Shinto curse tools, though usually they're meant to strap 3 lit candles to their forehead and nail the doll to a tree.
