It's funny how Takamura missed like half his own fight due to either being knocked unconscious or going berserk. Anyway, this is one of my top 2 favorite fights in the anime, the other one is still to come.

I don't know much about boxing, but I can't help wonder how Ricardo Martinez would have faired against Takamura or Brian Hawk. I know the weight class difference has its own hurdles but I've seen smaller guys K.O bigger ones before so?

Would be very difficult to KO them. When a smaller guy has his technique down against a bigger guy who doesn't, it's possible. But the chances of Ricardo KOing Takamura are super slim while the opposite is super likely. Every punch Takamura lands would be too heavy while Takamura could probably walk through Ricardo's punches easily to land his own. Trading punches would be in the best interest of the heavier fighter.
