I love the tension building in these episodes, a lot of people give it shit. But feeling Zoro's internal monologue and the buildup to him sensing things, put the the trust in vice-captain! That build up to him smiling, putting the bandana on...just pure FIRE! That little quick thing with him pulling Kuina's sword just to resheath it, mmmmm tasty little spice, reaffirming his will, plan is in place, pull out the 'NOTHING HAPPENED' OST.... YOSH!

Agreed! I see that there is definitely padding for time in here, but for the exact reasons you outlined, it doesn't bother me at all. I'm so focused on the buildup and the badassery, that nothing else matters! :-D
