This is removed from the anime,but Kobashi(the Clincher that ippo fought early in his career) made a comeback 1 weight class lower,and beat hayami(the pretty boy who used the barrage of punches called the shotgun) who was the current junior featherweight japan champion

Even though we just saw the bits from Ippo and Sendo's fight, it was still cool seeing it in the new art style.
