You went full subliminal messaging when you saw Bellamy and said Bellemere 😁 It's funny how the brain works, Law's backstory is very similar to Bellemere, Nami, and Nojiko's when she took Nami and Nojiko back to Cocoyashi Village in Nami's flashback, trying to get these kids away from the darkness in the world. Law's story is very eerily on the same track as Nami, seeking revenge for a fallen foster parent. It feels good that you are enjoying his backstory ❤

Listen Doflamingo can never be hated, he’s just a top tier villain, the classic heel. He relishes in all the destruction and hatred he’s created, so you got to respect him for sticking to his guns and continue being the antagonist. There’s no redemption for Doflamingo and frankly don’t think his character would ever look for such trivial validation. He’s just playing the role of the villain and the natural enemy of those with the Will of D. The best villains are those with no true motives who just want to watch the world burn and Doflamingo fits the bill.

While I think Doffy is one of the greatest characters ever made, it is hard to empathize with him as Cora went trough the same shit he did and did not turn into an evil sob. Still love Doffy though;P

Couldn't disagree more. I think, sometimes, hating a villain is a pure and true testament to what a great villain they are.

First of all, love the Green Rooster shirt. Second, I really feel like Oda loves to torment us by making backstories as dark, depressing, brutal, bittersweet or heartbreaking as humanly possible. Ace/Sabo/Luffy's backstory right after Ace's death. Robin's backstory, right as she had given up hope. Nami's backstory with the first death in the show. Chopper's backstory, showing his loss of innocence. I can't imagine how he can draw all of these backstories without at least 20 emotional support puppies and kittens in his lap.
