Man when you said "What a nice smile" about Koala that kinda hit me - knowing about her past where she had to force a smile when she was a celestial dragon slave and moved onto the fishman ship it feels really good to know she can smile genuinely now.

Robin knows them because she worked with The Revolutionaries during the two years Luffy and co were separated. Which by technicality strengthened relations between The Strawhats and Dragon's group. Couple that with Luffy being in Shanks' good grace and now all of these former toys, Luffy has friends in high places.

Koala is the little girl from fisher tigers backstory, the former slave who was brought to her home village by the fishman, that backstory was probably one of my favourite moments in the show, especially the "ITS OKAY TO CRY" scene, so im really happy Oda brought her back, plus Koala is just adorable
