Fun fact, this nurse is "anime only" (and episode 25 and 26 are considered fillers), even though the nurse in manga is pretty much the same person. I have no idea why they had to change her. 😅

Nao is technically an anime only character, however a character with an identical name and almost identical backstory appears in the Shonan Junai Gumi manga, which is the manga that GTO is the sequel to. Incidentally, in that manga Nao was a teacher who used the same trick we saw in this episode to get her students to study. She even set Onizuka up on a date with a girl once, but as you can imagine, it didn't go so well.
