Another REALLY cute episode, but I'm really curious what issues it is that keep Toya so stoic and aloof?

even though it's filler, I had to show this episode lol, I just love how cute and fun the play is lol, Toya's lack of acting and the cheesiness is great. the gender swap play is actually a pretty common trope in Shoujo shows, I know that damn circle dance they do at the end as well... I can't believe Japan has it in schools as well lol, I had to do it in primary and high school, it makes me cringe thinking of all the sweaty palms and boys who didn't know personal space. Also even though it's filler they do mix it in with the canon stuff, like when they subtly show Sakura's growth and that Toya isn't dating cause he already likes someone else, that stuff is part of the proper series, the filler likes to expand on stuff like that, which I appreciate, though sometimes I feel they lose some of the subtlety the original material was trying to build up in some plot elements by making some things later a bit too obvious.
