Ah, Bartolomeo. My personal favourite character in all of One Piece.

Ah, darn. It's a shame you can't remember certain things because Bellamy actually has changed a lot. He looked down on weaklings and laughed and made fun of dreamers and "bullied" them hard and threw his weight around. What he showed here wasn't arrogance, he's showing he's done with looking down on other or making fun of them. It wasnt about being stronger or weaker than Luffy or being scared, it's about him changing as a person. So it's a bit like "Bad guy becomes a much better person" You: I cant stand his arrogance, kick his ass Luffy! Which is fine but it's a shame some things like this will be lost. For those that do remember it can be a bit "not in the spirit" of what we're being shown. Oh, well, nothing to do about that. Well I've told you anyway. He's changed a lot, he was pretty much a high level asshole scumbag bully, violent lashing out on impulse thinking he's the greatest and strongest guy in the world. Luffy humbled him. Doffy humbled him and then Skypeia and losing his crew humbled him. He isn't nearly as full of himself anymore or looking down on people. He can see things from their perspective more now instead of thinking he's above them and only looking down. Well, based on the scene in this episode anyway. Hope that helps!^^

Fun Christmas related fact: Caesar Clown is a literal Krampus; he kidnapped children and has the likeness of one. I don't know if you figured that out or not, but I felt like its a good piece of trivia to drop on Christmas Day. Hope yours was a good one!
