Because of a screwup, where I thought this was the first episode of season 1, I accidentally watched this one first. I'm still going to post it, so you guys can know exactly the journey I'm on, but then we'll skip this one when we do actually get to season 3.  :-)

I've completely forgotten that hajime no ippo isn't easy to find in steaming services, idk why. If the order of the episodes get wacky i think the best option other then pirating would be to buy the DVD or blu ray. Some website gotta have it

Considering how long it'll take to get here again after watching the first 2 seasons, maybe you should watch this episode again (on your own, if you want) once we're actually this far. There's a lot that doesn't make sense without the context of the previous seasons in this episode. The previous challengers, the new challenger, "destroying the Dempsey Roll", etc. And it's the middle of a fight, so starting in the middle of the first match of season 3 may be a bit confusing then :D
