God I wish I could get into this series as I love horror but I have watched the first 10 episodes I would say of the original 3/4 times and for some reason it just didn't grab my attention like most other anime

That’s a shame. It gets way better if you just went a few more episodes (assuming you like that style of horror). Everything starts making more sense as you get further in the series.
