Cant wait for Mondays episode but did we seriously end on a cliffhanger again i swear this always happens i blame anime tho they love their cliffhangers

Life in the village really did him some good, before he quit the Jomsvikings he really was an asshole. The way he carried on at Ylva's birth is proof enough, if he was like that at the birth of his first child. Imagine how insufferable he must have been in everyday life back in those days. Also Thors is a badass but Askeladd and his crew aren't slouches either. Don't let their drunken antics fool you, Floki wouldn't have hired them if he didn't think they could do the job. Keep in mind they managed to kill the Jomsviking hiding behind that tapestry. Not an easy feat when you consider those guys are strong enough that a King's afraid to collect taxes from them.

A big reason Floki did things the way he did may have been because the leader of the jomsvikings wanted Thors back in the army. If Floki did things himself with his crew, he would be blamed for Tbors' death and would likely be killed.
