When I read this in the manga you have no idea how excited I was, with him wanting to make an alliance was like one of the best moments for me, cause it meant I got to see much more of what law could bring to the table, plus seeing more of my fav character is always welcome.

"Law could be leveraging something" Well he kinda is. He's practically asking Luffy to kill himself, by asking Luffy to help him take down an emperor, someone equal to or possibly even stronger than Whitebeard. There are a few moments in the New World that freaked me the hell out when I read/watched them. This was the first one.

I think the reason why Law's offer seems so genuine is that we've seen he can be just as daring as Luffy, like when he entered Marineford to save him. And when Luffy punched the Celestial Dragon everyone freaked out, but Kid and Law smiled. It's the same audacious smile he has at the end of this episode.

Yeah i think it kinda goes under the radar due to One Pieces usual kindness to the MC's, but really asking anyone to take on one of the 4 Emperors is equal to asking for suicide. Granted, beyond Whitebeard Curtis has no real concept of just how terrifying the Emperors are, what with Shanks never really showing off and us not having seen anything of Blackbeard post timeskip, at least not yet
