Even though there were moments where I kinda liked Translucent, it was pretty awesome the way he went out!   :-D

I really like the way this show portrays its villains. Sure most of them are complete assholes, but they're also believable characters, and as the show goes on you see how they ended up the way they are. So many films/shows take the easy route by just saying "this guy want to kill all humanity to save the environment, and that's all the character development you'll ever see".

Yeah, the actor for Homelander is fantastic. Makes that character absolutely terrifying.

I love Frenchie, how he jokes with Hughie about the dirt under the nails just before saying she was the first person he killed is really creepy but in a good way (unlike Homelander). I also love how he called Billy Butcher "Monsieur Charcutier" the first time, which is just a french translation of "Mister Butcher".

The “you’ll teach me to outrun cancer” and “ I’m the homelander I can do whatever the fuck I want are my favorite lines in this episode cause the dark blunt comedy of one of them and the brutal honesty of the other are things I find absolutely hilarious.

I like how you felt like Huey should take Translucence's advice and run but also wanted him to grow a pair and off him ^^ And it was interesting his analyse of Huey didn't hit me the same way it did you. To me he was just trying to manipulate Huey to try to let him go and was trying to just convince him to stay meek and accept life. He was pissing me off especially when he was describing non supes as waterballoons filled with blood especially when he knows how Robin died. and that entire speech really backfired and gave Huey the resolve he needed. It came off to me as a condescending monologue from someone who thinks they cant be touched and just another person in Huey's life telling him how to feel. It's good we have different views on this tho ^^ keeps it all interesting
