Honestly, the soundtrack for this show is astounding. Especially "Believe me", which is the most memorable piece of music from the show. The title, is made up or two words, yet it speaks for a big part of time travel stories. If you were to go back in time, would anyone believe you? The piece itself, is the same set of piano keys, being repeated, showing that despite help from Christina and the constant company of Daru, Faris, Mayushii etc. He is essentially in this all on his own, living the same experience over and over again. In this episode it is a slightly slower paced version of the song after Mayushii dies, not only that but it plays over the rewinding of time, showing that for that moment, that Okarin, in his mind was all out of options and that the suffering had taken it's toll, even shattering his persona that he had kept up for so many years. Isn't it amazing, how music, something that is in the background, manages to come to the frontlines to push a story to new heights?
