Everything here has been fascinatingly bizarre so far, but the time confusion of the banana/gelnana is really freaky!

Believe me, this show keeps getting better and better over time.

Daru is not "little" in any way of the word.. 6:00 those subtitles are a bit wrong... Yeah Ruka is probably one of the best known traps. Many have fallen for him (in him? if we think 'trap' as a pitfall) "Hoboing Coma" 😂 that was brilliant!! 'Catgirls as a waitstaff' oh boy would you love Nekopara!

The John Titor stuff you're hearing about is actually based off of unexplained online stories in real life, here's a quick Wikipedia description about it (No spoilers just a cool bit of side info so you can see the reference); "John Titor is a name used on several bulletin boards during 2000 and 2001 by a poster claiming to be an American military time traveler from 2036. Titor made numerous vague and specific predictions regarding calamitous events in 2004 and beyond, including a nuclear war, none of which came true." We will see how they handle it in the show though :D

Do they really have maid cafes? More than you can count. Catgirl cafes? More than you can count. Maid catgirl cafes? Ya, I would think so. In fact if anime is trustworthy at all in this question: Maid cafes and the like seem to be a fairly normal thing to have at your average school festival. Lemme google that. Result: Didnt see any good results but based on what I got: They happen (rarely?) but not as commonplace as in anime? (not sure I trust the source since the other source didnt match it at all) These things are huge and Steins Gate does demonstrate a lot of Japanese and Moe culture.

He was revealed within 2 minutes of appearing though so not that great of a trap in the actual show since its revealed immediately. Ps: He's a dude? I dont care. 10/10 would still bang.

I just want to let you know in case you weren't aware, Steins Gate 0 happens after episode 22 in the original Steins Gate, it was simply created to expand onto the story but it's very much still canon. So if you want to watch it in chronological order, you watch it in the order: 1) Episode 1-22 in Steins Gate, 2) Episode 23β as mentioned in the comment below, 3) All episodes of Steins Gate 0, 4) Episode 23-25 in in the original Steins Gate. You can decide for yourself how you decide to watch it, but I felt that watching it this way, made the story so much more intriguing. So in my opinion, to experience the whole story, I STRONGLY recommend that you watch it in that order. :)

I have no idea if this would be a good idea or not since I haven't experienced it myself (I've seen people argue both for and against it), but I just wanted to add that if he does decide to do it he should also watch S;G Episode 23β in between S;G Episode 22 and S;G 0 Episode 1.

The funny and fascinating thing about John Titor in Steins;Gate is that it's actually based on someone that said that they came from the year 2036. Titor claimed that a third world war would break out in 2015. you can find info about it if you google it.
