We are all forgetting the legend of Buggy D. Clown and his training he will be receiving from the legendary ghost of Captain John. He will be the most impressive after this two year skip.

Fun fact: The baboon master is filler, as are any training scenes involving the baboons. The manga simply didn't cover any part of the training Zoro actually underwent with Mihawk, so they improvised. For that purpose, the Humandrills' behavior has been explained greater than in the manga, with their ranks, the master baboon, etc.

Actually in manga Zoro also beats the baboons and they show the Mihawk-baboon too!

Yes, the time skip happens after #516. I never noticed or understood the 3D2Y before it was explained by Zoro in this episode (or the manga chapter equivalent)

It's worth reflecting on the impact Bartholomew Kuma's going to have had on the One Piece world. Almost his last act before his "death" was to save the Straw Hat crew from certain destruction at the hands of Kizaru, Sentomaru and the Pacifistas, and to send them specifically to location where they could improve their individual abilities and return strong enough to challenge the established powers of the world. It will arguably make him the architect of the future successes of the Straw Hats.

You didn't wonder about the important plot points? Robin and Nami's... development... after two years? Timeskips are 100% the perfect excuse to glow up characters (without spoiling, my god do they glow up... though one is a bit of an acquired taste but it grows on you).
