Is there a plan on how we handle one piece after Curtis catches up?

It was Ace using conqueror’s haki and not Dragon. It’s very brief but right as Ace is freed there were ripples emanating from Ace. It being triggered due to Luffy being about to get stabbed and killed

If you remember, when Luffy used his Conqueror's Haki during the war when Ace was about to be executed, Ace said something along the lines of "So you have it as well."

Yeah as others have said it's Ace using Conquerors Haki, if I remember rightly it's the only time he uses it. Plus he's bound to have it considering who his dad is lol.

When Luffy used the conquerors haki during the war Ace said, "You have it too". I am paraphrasing, but that's the gist of what he said. If Dragon (Luffy's dad) did it, Bluejam also would've been knocked out. It's never said in the series proper only in the SBS (question corner) that appears in the manga, but when a person uses that type of haki there has to be a big enough difference in their willpower for them to be knocked unconscious. There's more to it than this, but the rest will be explained in an actual episode.

Ace was the one using it. If you watch closely you'll see he's the only one shown in color while it was being released, which was their way of showing us that he awakened his Conqueror's Haki here.

You can also guess it was Ace because literally only Bluejam was still remaining. That shows that Ace's Haki as a kid wasn't strong enough to mentally knock out Bluejam. While if it were really Dragon, he would probably knock everyone out even Bluejam (assuming Dragon has Conquerors Haki as well)
