Huh, Sabo truly is Naruto.. The Bluejam pirates are really stupid. They beat Luffy half a day and he still doesn't tell anything. It would have been way better idea to use Luffy as a bait. Beat him couple of hours and after "let him go" (and follow him). With Luffy's stupidity he would have led everyone right to Sabo&Ace...

Whenever I see little Luffy it reminds me so much of Kid Goku from the original Dragon Ball. Young Luffy is portrayed to have characteristics of Kid Goku just the child like nature, the stupidity and innocence while having devotion to his loved ones all culminate similarities between both protagonist. I can even say the inspiration of Kid Goku also has an direct impact on some characteristics of current Luffy, but whenever you Kid Luffy it’s just a complete reminder of watching Kid Goku from Dragon Ball.

Sabo is probably my favorite part of this backstory. Kid is great and I absolutely adore his top hat and goggles.
