Damn, seeing all the carnage in this episode was rough! Mirio is such a legend, and seeing Nighteye skewered was brutal!

Overhaul's quirk, "Overhaul", is effectively unlimited philosophers stone alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It's brutal as fuck.

What's that? Chisaki is evolving? Chisaki evolved into Machamp!

I love how Nighteye’s quirk was handled. Normally seeing the future would be an ability sought after by everyone and revered as something almost unbeatable. But with Nighteye not only did his power have strict limitations we also got to see the psychological aspect of what seeing the future does to a person which is something not explored a lot in other anime. The ability to perceive a person’s death and having to deal with deciding whether or not you have the right to tell them is brutal. Definitely a quirk you would think would be cool to have initially until you see how it affected Nighteye.

I think one interesting thing here for me is the parallel between shigaraki and deku again because in this episode deku was criticized by overhaul because he was too predictable unlike the two he fought before him, which shows deku needs to learn better attack patterns and how to plan things more effectively, which is similar to what he kept lecturing shigaraki about. And overhaul was right about it in both cases. While I completely think overhaul is a piece of shit I do think he has his plans and strategy going for him, he is one calculating motherfucker.

Yeah I think overhaul is a great villain and usually I would like him but the man done gone too far with eri so I hate him re
