I hope I'm not the only one but... I would do the guy he turned to a girl. Kinda cute ngl Also 10 years in exchange for living isint the worst deal, I mean I would rather lose 10 years off my life then I would rather die in that moment. For me personally seems like a no brainer to take it, also it got me wondering, how much of luffys life has he used up so far? 10 years with this, but it was said every time he uses 2nd gear he also loses some of his life span with that, I wonder at this point or heck even in the current arc going, how much of his life span has he burned through already

I really like the idea of the New Kama Land and Ivankov’s ideals in the story. In hindsight it could look a little SJW - ish with all the gender talk and stuff but it never felt that way, Oda always presents it as individuality and free expression being the way to fight against tyranny and and oppressive, discriminatory world power. Modern stories that want to push these narratives could really learn from the portrayal of bon clay and the others (kamabaka kingdom is a little extra trolly from Oda though lol). Bon clay is “queer” and does wear it proudly, but that isn’t his whole character and that’s not why we are supposed to like him - it doesn’t define him. He’s strong and has a good heart and cares deeply for his friend, and is a real character who gets to make mistakes like abandoning Luffy or fighting for Baroque Works, and then gets the opportunity to make up for this mistakes.

I do wish to say humans in the One Piece world live for an incredible amount of time. A good example being Dr Kureha who is a massive alcoholic and also 139 at the current time your watching. She only looks like she’s 60 at most. So 10 years is hardly that much time in comparison.

Luffy getting to One Piece and then dying shortly after has been one of my biggest fears since I got to this part. Especially since he has a lot of parallels with Roger, and Roger turned himself in because he was going to die anyway.

Its been a theory of mine for the longest time, it really seems like Oda is pushing it in that direction. Regardless of how the series ends, Luffy won't have many years left once he becomes pirate king

With Ivankov in the picture now you have to question every female in the series. They're all traps! Although, is it a trap if a man actually turns into a woman with a vagina and ovaries and the capability to give birth? Also, can I, as a man, donate sperm to a sperm bank and then have Ivankov turn me into a woman and then go to that sperm bank and impregnate myself with my own sperm?
